Founded in 1902
Our 2016-17 programme has just been finalised. Click on the 'Programme' tab above.
We have been around a bit, having been founded by local worthies in 1902-3. The Club has changed very much since that time - we don't do basket weaving or archaeological digs very often these days - and is open to anyone with an interest in art and photography. We are affiliated to the North & East Midlands Photographic Federation (NEMPF) and through it to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB). Since the earliest times our Honorary President has been the Mayor of Ilkeston and since 1974 the Mayor of Erewash. We hold an Annual Exhibition at the Erewash Museum to which all members can submit work free of charge. Whatever your abilities, you will be very welcome to come along and see what we're all about.
