Single Use (disposable) Camera Competition 2009
for The Barbara Mallard Trophy
This competition, held on 26th February 2009, was generously sponsored by Manor Pharmacy. The judge was our old friend Dennis Shipman, President of the North & East Midlands Photographic Federation.
Entrants were asked to submit photographs taken with a disposable film camera, and sponsors Manor Pharmacy generously donated some good quality Fuji disposable cameras for the purpose. The results are very good and some are quite stunning considering the equipment used. It was particularly gratifying to see members who do not normally regard themselves as photographers having a go. The top three, including the winner, fall into this category. Well done everyone who entered and if you didn't then I hope this inspires you to have a go next year!
Grant Shaw, Photographic Secretary.
